Today I felt joy

It is hard to explain the feeling of excitement that fills me when I finish working on a piece that touches my heart. It's like having a new child to the family.

This poster was created as part of a typography project on Jerusalem. The quote on the poster is from Isaiah book, carved on the Western Wall caves in Jerusalem.

I can't explain what moved me ... perhaps the cultural and emotional context to Judaism, or maybe because I'm far from home in Philadelphia and the Golden Dome with the Western Wall image with this specific statement makes me homesick... or maybe the colors make my head think of a memory of home as a heaven... or maybe it is heaven.
