My name is Maya Zeltzer and I am a graphic designer and illustrator. 

It may say that all my life I have been in a paradise of beauty and aesthetics. I was born in Israel, Kibbutz Bet Alfa located in Izrael Valley next to Mount Gilboa. Nature, green, chirping birds and fresh air were part of my permanent view.

 

Home for me is freedom, inner peace, a warm place to return to, a place that helps you to get up and grow. In my work I try to create something new and fresh with a look back at the place that brought me the desire to create in the first place.

 

In 2012 I registered to Bezalel, Academy of Art and Design, Jerusalem in the Visual Communication department. Part of my third year at school I spent in Philadelphia, USA in the University of the Art as part of an Exchange Students program.

 

As a musician I'm always looking for rhythm, concept, character, particular order...  the world of design allows me to combine a variety of areas in order to convey an idea, create a new rhythm, a new visual world.

 

On my website there are projects in a variety of formats from the world of design: illustrations, posters, book cover, lettering and typography, design proposals and so on.

 

I find myself often linger in bed before I fall asleep. How can I sleep when my brain works? Tell it to stop?... My inspiration in general grows from everything: music, nature, home, politics, fashion, art, culture, small talk, daily life, work… everything that passes in front of my eyes and crackles next to my ears.
